Using an asymmetrical headboard encourages a longer look by the viewer and makes for a headboard that will not take on a stiff appearance. Explodilite glass morphing into the shape of a bird transforms across 
the headboard providing whimsical relief to an otherwise monolithic appearance. This example is primarily constructed of Cherrywood and accented with dark Walnut. The headboard is veneered in quarter cut Cherry wood.
